LINX Policies - Billing, Cancellation, & Change Policies  

 
 

Membership:

All students actively enrolled in a class are LINX Members entitled to LINX Member Benefits.


Rolling Admission:

Classes run from September through June. The majority of LINX classes are open for rolling admission. New students may enroll at any time during the school year. A limited number of classes, including performance-based Dance classes and performance-based Theater classes, have an enrollment deadline. Enrollment deadlines are noted on our website.

Initial Charge:

If signing up to begin weekly classes after September 1st, you will be charged for the current month and the coming month as we bill 30 days in advance. The fee for your current month will be pro-rated if you've missed any preceding classes within that month upon start date.


September Class Deposit:

When registering for September classes prior to August 1st, you will be charged on August 1st.


Monthly Billing:

LINX securely stores your payment information. Monthly fees are applied on the 1st of each month 30 days prior to the month of classes. Therefore, you will be billed on 9/1 for October classes, on 10/1 for November classes, so on and so forth, until your class ends or your membership is canceled.


Cancellation Policy:

To cancel your membership, we require that you notify us 30 days prior to the 1st of the month you wish to cancel. For example, to cancel class enrollment for October, we must be notified by September 1st.


Change Policy:

Students are allowed to change classes provided that the class the student wishes to switch into has space available. Students may not switch into performance-based dance classes or performance-based theater classes after the enrollment deadline.


Trial Class Policy:

We offer one free trial class per child per year. However, our monthly membership billing practice makes it easy to enroll for one month (the current month only) so that you are not charged for future months (in accordance with our 30-day cancelation policy above). During that initial month, your child can attend a total of four classes with the option to switch as needed if the class does not meet your expectations. At the end of the month, you will need to notify us if you would like to continue.


Private Lessons Cancellation Policy:

24-hour notice:
For cancelations within 24 hours of your scheduled private lesson (due to illness or family emergency) we will reschedule your lesson at no additional cost. No credits or refunds will be given for 24-hour cancelations. After two cancellations within 24 hours we will not be able to reschedule, credit or refund.

48-hour notice:
Please call or email us within 48 hours of your scheduled private lesson to cancel and we will gladly place a credit on your account for future use in any LINX Camps or Classes program.

1-week notice:
Please call or email us within 1 week of your scheduled private lesson to cancel and we will gladly refund your payment.


Inclement Weather:

If LINX is closed due to inclement weather, no refunds or credits will be given, but you may reschedule your private lesson to another available day/time.

Deposits:

When you register for camp prior to March 1st, we collect a $100 deposit per camp week. See the options for when your camp balance will be charged below. After May 1st we charge balance in full at the time of registration.


Payment Options:

Before February 1st:

ACH 1 Payment (save 2.5%):
Pay your camp balance in full in one payment on February 26th.

ACH 3 Payments (save 2.5%):
Pay your camp balance in three equal payments.

  • March 25th
  • April 25th

Credit Card: The full balance due less your deposit will be charged on the credit card of your choice March 1st.

Between February 1st and April 1st:

ACH or Credit Card: Your balance due less deposit amount (charged at time of registration) will be charged 30 days from the time of your registration.

After April 2nd:

ACH or Credit Card: Your balance due less deposit amount (charged at time of registration) will be charged on May 1st.

After May 1st:

ACH or Credit Card: Your full balance is due at time of registration.


Change Policy:

Camp weeks and programs may be changed at any time, subject to availability, up until the Thursday before that camp week. You can conveniently make your changes via your LINX Camps Family Page by clicking the Make a Switch button.


Cancellation & Refund Policy:

Before January 15th:

You may cancel your camp registration and receive a full refund.

Between January 15th and February 28th:

If you must cancel any or all camp weeks we will retain your deposit and apply a credit to your account that you may use toward a future purchase of camp or LINX classes.

March 1st or later:

No credits or refunds.
