LINX Policies - Billing, Cancellation, & Change Policies  


All students registered in a class are LINX Members and are entitled to LINX Member Benefits.


Classes run from September through June.

Many of LINX classes are open for rolling admission. In those classes, new students may register at any time during the school year.

Our performance-based Dance classes and performance-based Theater classes have a registration deadline. Registration deadlines are noted on our website.

Our Theater season includes two performances. Most students participate in the entire season. Based on availability, students may opt to participate in classes leading up to only one of the performances.


Our monthly class rate is an average based on the cost of our program year divided by ten months. Some months will have more classes and some months less, but your cost will not change regardless of the actual number of classes in that month. This is a very different rate model from most enrichment programs and a LINX Difference.

Please know that LINX bills 30 days in advance. Monthly fees are applied on the 1st of each month for the coming month of classes. For example, you will be billed on October 1st for November classes and on November 1st for December classes. We have this policy to ensure our teaching staff is scheduled and paid appropriately. LINX does not offer refunds for any months already billed.

  • For registrations BEFORE September 1st, you will be billed at the time of registration.
  • For registrations AFTER September 1st, you will be charged for the current month and the coming month. The fee for your current month will be pro-rated appropriately if the registration was made mid-month.

Cancellation Policy:

To cancel your registration, we require that you notify us by these dates:

A couple of specific cancellation notes about our performance-based classes:

  • We ask that Theater families do not cancel their registration after their child is cast in a role. Our Theater classes rely on the participation of all students because we feature every student.
  • Theater families who do not want to participate in the spring semester need to cancel their Theater class registration by December 25th.
  • We ask that Dance families do not cancel their registration after February 1st when their child's placement is set in the recital choreography.

If after your child's first class, regardless of time of year, your child does not want to continue the class and there is no other class they would like to attend, we will fully refund your payment. Please call us at 781-235-3210 to arrange the refund.

Private Lessons Cancellation Policy:

24-hour notice:

  • No credits or refunds will be given for 24-hour cancellations.
  • In the case of an illness or family emergency, we will reschedule your lesson, even though we received less than a 24-hour notice, at no additional cost.
  • After two cancellations within 24 hours we will not be able to reschedule, credit, or refund.

48-hour notice:
Please call or email us within 48 hours of your scheduled private lesson to cancel and we will gladly place a credit on your account for future use in any LINX Camps or Classes program.

1-week notice:
Please call or email us within 1 week of your scheduled private lesson to cancel and we will gladly refund your payment.

Hold Policy:

We do not offer families the option to place a hold of any length on their registrations.

Change Policy:

Students are allowed to change classes provided that the class the student wishes to switch into has space available. Students may not switch into performance-based Dance or Theater classes after the registration deadline.

Inclement Weather:

If LINX is closed due to inclement weather, no refunds or credits will be given, but you may make-up your class or reschedule your private lesson to another available day/time.


When you register for camp prior to March 3rd, we collect a $100 deposit per camp week. See the options for when your camp balance will be charged below. After May 1st we charge balance in full at the time of registration.

Payment Options:

If you register before January 15th:

ACH 1 Payment (save 2.5%):
Pay your camp balance in full in one payment on February 25th.

ACH 3 Payments (save 2.5%):
Pay your camp balance in three equal payments.

  • January 20th
  • February 20th
  • March 20th

Credit Card: The full balance due less your deposit will be charged on the credit card of your choice on March 3rd.

If you register after January 15th:

ACH or Credit Card: Your balance due less deposit amount (charged at time of registration) will be charged 30 days from the time of your registration.

If you register after April 2nd:

ACH or Credit Card: Your balance due less deposit amount (charged at time of registration) will be charged on May 1st.

If you register after May 1st:

ACH or Credit Card: Your full balance is due at time of registration.

Change Policy:

Camp weeks and programs may be changed at any time, subject to availability, up until the Thursday before that camp week. You can conveniently make your changes via your LINX Camps Family Page by clicking the Make a Switch button.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

No refunds will be issued to summer 2020 Camps families after June 1, 2020.

Credit may be issued in those cases that are described in the Specific to COVID-19 section of our FAQ page.

Before January 15th:

Families who deferred their summer 2020 registrations to summer 2021, but then cancel all or any part of the registrations, will receive a refund no later than March 31, 2021.

Families who make a new summer 2021 registration may cancel their camp registration and will receive a full refund no later than March 31, 2021.

Between January 15th and March 2nd:

If you must cancel any or all camp weeks, LINX will retain your deposit, which will be applied as a credit to your account that you may use toward a future purchase of camp or LINX classes. The remaining paid balance will be refunded.

Please note that our standing practice is to only apply a credit to the same type of program for which the credit was issued. For example, LINX Camps credit will only be applied to a future LINX Camps bill. Customers may request that a credit for one type of program be applied to another type of program by calling us at 781-235-3210.
