LINX acquires Creative Movement and Arts Center
December 9, 2011
Dear Creative Movement and Arts Center Families:
Bright Horizons has truly loved providing a wonderful movement and arts program for children in the Needham area and we owe much of this to the dedicated families who returned year after year for programming and parties. We thank you for that.
It is a bittersweet occasion that Bright Horizons looked to find a company that could help shepherd Creative Movement and Arts Center into its next chapter of success. Creative Movement has always been a gem in early enrichment programming and we were lucky to find an organization to champion Creative Movement's vision and dedication to children, family and the community.
As many of you know, the Creative Movement and Arts Center was a center outside of the normal operations of Bright Horizons, and so we sought out a buyer that understood and supported Creative Movement and Arts Center programming and staff and was interested in growing the program. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude for your support of the Creative Movement and Arts Center over the years. We wish you and your families all of the best.
Randy Wong, Regional Manager, Bright Horizons
Debbie Bermudez, Division Vice President, Bright Horizons
We are thrilled to announce that Creative Movement and Arts Center is now powered by LINX.
It is with great excitement that LINX welcomes Creative Movement and Arts Center families. The opportunity to incorporate the fantastic programming and staff from Creative Movement and Arts Center is a great addition to our family of programming.
LINX is an enrichment center based in Wellesley, MA that offers premier classes and summer camps for what now will be, thanks to Creative Movement staff, birth through age 14. We will continue to be committed to excellent customer service, continuing a community and class-based environment and growing unique programs and activities at both centers.
LINX joins Bright Horizons in being proud of the community that Creative Movement and Arts Center has created. The combined Creative Movement/LINX family looks forward to working with you. We, the LINX team, are very pleased to announce there will be little to no change to your current class leaders. One of the important reasons why LINX acquired the Creative Movement & Arts Center is because of its outstanding reputation for providing high quality, high spirited programs to families for over 30 years. We want to assure all loyal Creative Movement & Arts Center families that we know the programs your children are enrolled in are only as good as the teachers. That is why you see the same happy teaching faces in the classroom today and we want all of them to stay for a long time to come! Some team members have expressed a desire to pursue more family time, additional schooling and other avenues outside of the classroom in the future and we wish them the best.
One of the messages we have heard loud and clear from the teachers and staff at the Creative Movement & Arts Center is that they are eager to join forces with us. They have the same goals as we do: to do everything we can to deliver the highest quality early childhood enrichment programs, camps and birthdays available to families in the Greater Boston Area and beyond. They are as proud of their reputation as we are of ours. By joining forces, we think we will provide an even more valuable service to families for many years to come.
Joe Kahn, President, LINX
We are very excited for the type of support that LINX can offer. We are thrilled to be a part of a new team and enhance the Early Childhood programming that has been so successful for all these years. As an example, I am very excited to see the many ways that we can combine forces to strengthen the CMAC theater program for younger children and the LINX theater program for older children.
