Robotics Workshop

Robots are a part of our daily lives, whether we know it or not.  Every day, you interact with something that was built by or created using robotic principles.  But what are Robots really?  How do they work?  And can you actually build one?  Join Mr. Steve in the Science Center as we learn the basics of robotics and the different methods inventors use to build them.  Working with kits, toys and electronic "junk", students will even have the chance to build their own working robot!  Over the last millennium, science and technology have increased our understanding of the technological world by leaps and bounds... for the young inventors and robot builders of today, the next millennium belongs to them - and their robots!
