Sketching & Sculpting

The work of 3D art is explored in this sketching and sculpting class. The techniques behind creating & planning a 3D piece are taught through sketching in order to create sculptures in various mediums. Do Degas ballerina's interest you? Or maybe the more modern art of Louise Nevelson? Students will use paper mache and wire to create their own sculptures as well as learn how to do the basics of good sketching.
