Comic Animators

This class is a must for kids who like comic books and animation. Children create their own characters and learn how to animate them using Flash, the premiere 2-D animation software. They will also learn basic animation principles that the pros use to create animated movies and TV shows. In addition, the class creates comic book stories, which the students will draw, color and letter in Photoshop CS4. The kids will learn dynamic story telling, tips on drawing and designing characters, and inking and coloring techniques. These stories will be turned into web comics, which, along with the animations that are created, will be posted for everyone to see on the LINX web page.
