Wheel Throwing and Clay Techniques Children have the opportunity to make their own cups, bowls, plates and vases on the pottery wheels at LINX. Throwing, trimming and glazing techniques are taught to create nicely finished pieces of pottery. Children also explore other possibilities with clay off the wheel. They will learn to make tiles and mosaics by rolling out flat pieces of clay and designing their own images. Pieces will be fired in our new kiln to later be taken home and utilized. Expect brilliant results (children should come prepared to get their hands dirty)!
