G.I.R.L Power

Grace, Integrity, Responsibility and Leadership. Through fun activities designed after the Girl Scout Try Its, this class unites girls and creates a community of leaders. GIRL Power has proven to be a useful resource for both parents and children as we cover topics that come up through school, friendship circles and with siblings.  Having a unique outlet for girls to share their feelings and their day to day experiences with peers, in an open environment has opened their eyes to different perspectives and helpful insight.  Projects range from Friendship Campaigns that help each girl recognize what they offer to their friends and what makes them special to writing newsletters and articles about hot topics with helpful information for peers.  As a group we play many team building games that help create leadership opportunities within the group each week.  Girls leave feeling a weight lifted off their shoulders sharing with peers and then sharing at home.  Each month a lengthy email update is sent to the parents reviewing all the fun activities and the role their daughter took each week.  Come join the leaders of tomorrow.
