Q: How do I get the best camp rates?
A: Become a fan of LINX to get our best rates!
Q: What if I don't know what weeks of camp I want to sign up for yet?
A: No Problem! You can select the number of weeks you want and make changes to the sessions or the programs all the way up until March 1st!
Q: If I sign my 2 children up for 4 weeks each, do I get the 8 week rate?
A: Yes! LINX Camps takes your total number of family weeks of camp and sets pricing based on that number (ex. 2 children for 4 weeks each = 8 week pricing!).
Q: Can I split up weeks?
A: Absolutely! Many families sign up for a week or two at the beginning and then take a week off for a family vacation then come back!
Q: Can I select different programs for my children during the summer?
A: Yes! Many campers are signed up for 2 weeks of Freedom Camp and then 2 weeks of Science and 2 weeks of...
Q: I want my child to have a well rounded camp experience, but he loves soccer. What do you recommend?
A: Campers who choose one of our Specialty or Sports camps still get daily swimming and also enjoy a period of archery, boating and fishing each week. This gives every camper a well rounded experience and makes them part of the larger camp community.
Q: What are your ratios at camp and during swimming?
A: 1 to 5 ratio (1 to 4 at swimming for the 3 and 4 year old campers)
Q: I heard LINX Camps only has one swim period, why is that?
A: LINX Camps has studied swim periods very closely and determined that two swim periods a day equals more time changing your clothes and less time actually swimming. Each camper receives a true 30 minute Red Cross instructional swim period and the balance of the hour long swim period is for free swim.
Q: Is the pool heated?
A: Yes! Our pool is heated by a 350,000 BTU Hayward propane heater. So it won't matter if you have morning or afternoon swim.
Q: Can my little one stand in the pool?
A: LINX Camps uses the highest quality Swim Teaching Platforms to enable all campers to stand in the water at a comfortable height.
Q: Does my child have to swim?
A: No, that's your decision. We will provide alternate activities.
Q: Do my 3 and 4 year old actually get "free" swim? They don't know how to swim!
A: The balance of the 60 minute swim period will be just as heavily guarded as the lesson. The instructors and lifeguards stay in the water during the entire time the campers are in the water. The group's counselors are also in the water to ensure safety while additional guards serve as look outs. Our youngest campers are never in the water unattended!
Q: Do you have a Visitor's Day?
A: Every day your children are enrolled in camp, you are welcome to come and visit. We ask that you check in at the office, show ID and then we will take you to your child. Stay as long as you like.
