Gardening and Nature Camp (2nd-6th)

The Elm Bank Reservation is known for it's gardens, trails, and Weezie's Garden - the teaching garden for children. Our Gardening Campers roll up their sleeves and get into the dirt as they learn how to care for plants, make garden beds and even build their own greenhouse! Tree and plant identification techniques are incorporated into craft projects while children learn through hands on exploration.  Master Gardeners and Mass Hort Members join us throughout the summer to train the campers on the skills needed to become Horticulturalist.

Daily swim is provided with lessons and free swim.

Miss Jenette Kerr, Master Gardener
LINX Gardening and Nature Camp is led by certified Master Gardener, Jenette Kerr.  Jenette has been gardening her whole life and is a part-time teacher/naturalist with the Massachusetts Audubon Society. When she’s not growing things or trying to outwit pesky voles, she can be found on Cape Cod beaches monitoring the nests of threatened shorebirds.
