Absences & Make Ups

  • Should we notify LINX about an absence? Yes it is always a good idea to let us know when your child(ren) will be absent from class.

  • What is your makeup policy?
     
    • Drop Off Classes: If your child misses a drop off class, his/her account automatically accrues 50 minutes of Clubtime which expires at the end of the month in which the absence occurs. You may use the Clubtime to either (1)book a makeup class (subject to availability), or (2) reserve Clubtime.

    • Better Together Classes: If you miss a Better Together (Mommy & Me) class, you and your child are invited to attend any of our other Better Together classes, subject to availability.

    • All makeup classes must be scheduled in advance.

  • How do we schedule a makeup class? Please review our classes online. You may book a makeup class online or call us at 781-235-3210. We will be happy to check availability and confirm your makeup class.

  • What is your attendance policy regarding children exhibiting possible flu symptoms?
     
    • If your child has a fever of 100.4 degrees or higher and/or flu-like symptoms, he/she must stay home.

    • A student with no fever but with flu-like symptoms (cough, sore throat, nausea, dizziness, aches or chills) should stay home for monitoring, as these symptoms can signal the onset of the flu.

    • Students who exhibit fever or flu-like symptoms while at school and either go home early or stay home entirely should not attend their classes at LINX for the day.

    • A student should only return to LINX after he/she has been fever-free for at least 24 hours without the aid of acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil or Motrin) and does not have any other flu-like symptoms.

Billing & Payments

  • What is the easiest way to pay for my class(es)? When your family registers for a class, we will collect and securely store your credit card information. Your credit card will be billed monthly for your class fees and any additional applicable fees.

  • When will my credit card be charged? Your credit card will be charged monthly on the 1st of each month, for the following month. For example, your card will be charged on 9/1 for October classes, on 10/1 for November classes, so on and so forth.

  • Why does it look like I have been double-charged for my class(es)? When you sign up to begin classes, you will be charged for the current month and the coming month (since we bill 30 days in advance). The fee for your current month is pro-rated.

  • I prefer to pay by check. Is that ok? Yes. If you would like to pay by check, please contact us to make arrangements.

Birthday Parties

  • Does LINX offer children's birthday parties? Yes. Please visit our Birthday Parties page for information about birthday party options.

  • Do you host parties on weekdays? No. We have several classes that meet in all of our locations throughout the school week therefore, we are unable to host birthday parties Monday through Friday. We have several times available on Saturdays and Sundays. Please call the party coordinator for availability.

  • What do I need to do to reserve a date and time? After speaking with the party coordinator, you will be asked to pay a non-refundable deposit of $100 to reserve the date. This deposit will be deducted from your final balance.

  • When is my balance due? At the time of booking, we will collect and securely store your credit card information. Upon completion of the party, our party coordinator will charge your balance due to the card on file.

  • What do I need to bring to our party? We supply paper products (paper plates and napkins), forks, a cake server, tablecloth, and balloons. Please plan to bring the birthday cake, pizza (if you choose to serve pizza), drinks, and party favors. We do not have cups so please try to bring juice boxes and water bottles.

 

Cancellations

  • What is your cancellation policy? To cancel your membership, we require that you notify us 30 days prior to the 1st of the month you wish to cancel. For example, to cancel class enrollment for October, we must be notified by September 1st.

  • How do I cancel my membership/class enrollment? To cancel your membership/class enrollment, please call us at 781-235-3210 and we will be happy to assist you. Please remember that we bill 30 days in advance and we require 30 days notice to process a cancellation.

  • Can we cancel a Special Event/LINX Friday Night event registration? Special Event and LINX Friday Nights event cancellations received within two weeks of the event are not eligible for a refund as spaces are limited and staffing is set based on planned attendance.

Changes/Switches

  • What is your policy regarding changing classes? Students are allowed to change classes provided that the class the student wishes to switch into has space available. Students may not switch into performance-based dance classes or performance-based theater classes after the enrollment deadline.

Class FAQs

  • How long are classes? Most classes are 50 minutes in length and meet once per week. A few classes, including a number of our performance-based theater classes, meet longer. Class times are noted on our website.

  • When do classes begin and end? Can I join at any time? Classes run from September through June. The majority of LINX classes are open for rolling admission. New students may enroll at any time during the school year. A limited number of classes, including performance-based dance classes and performance-based theater classes, have an enrollment deadline. Enrollment deadlines are noted on our website.

  • How do I register for a class? You may register online by creating an account and entering your personal and billing information. Or you are welcome to call us at 781-235-3210 and we will be happy to process your registration.

  • What should I do if the class I want is full? If the class you are interested in is full, you may (1)put your name on the waiting list, (2)find the same class offered at a different time, or (3)gather a group of 6 or more children and request that we create a new class time.

  • Is it ok to have food and/or drinks in the classroom? Food and/or drinks are not permitted in Drop Off classes. Water is permitted in our Better Together classrooms. Water fountains are available in the building.

Drop Off & Pick Up

  • How does LINX Drop Off/Pick Up work? Please visit the Drop Off & Pick Up page for complete details on LINX drop offs and pick ups.

  • What is a Pick Up Card and why do I need one? Your Pick Up Card should always be displayed on the dash of your vehicle at drop off and pick up times. It helps us to easily identify our members and families and helps ensure the safety of all children.

  • How can I print a copy of my Pick Up Card? Click here to print a copy of your Pick Up Card. If you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to do so.

  • What should I do if someone other than me has to pick up my child(ren)? You may authorize an individual other than yourself to pick up your child(ren). Please call us at 781-235-3210 to let us know whenever you need to authorize someone for pickup as we must add their name and phone number to our records. Additionally, please make sure that persons authorized for pick up have a copy of your Pick Up Card.

  • What is your affiliation with FMM?: Family Music Makers is one of the LINX brands and Family Music Makers classes and instructors have been integrated into the LINX curriculum.

Holiday Schedule

  • LINX follows the public school calendar as closely as possible, however in an attempt to provide continuity for our Members, there are a few instances where LINX runs regularly scheduled programs even when public schools are closed.

  • How do I become a LINX Member? All students actively enrolled in at least one LINX Class are LINX Members entitled to LINX Member Benefits.

  • As a LINX Member, what benefits am I entitled to? Please visit our Member Benefits page to explore all of the Member Benefits that LINX Members are entitled to.

  • What is Clubtime and how do I use it? All LINX Members actively enrolled in at least one Drop Off Class may use Clubtime on weekdays from 1:00pm - 6:00pm. Please visit our Member Benefits page to learn more about what Clubtime is and how it works. You may also log in to your account to view your Clubtime balance and to reserve Clubtime

  • What is Movie Night and when does it take place? All LINX Members actively enrolled in at least one Drop Off Class are welcome to join us for Movie Night which typically takes place on the first Friday of each month from 6:00 - 8:30pm. Please visit our Member Benefits page to learn more about Movie Night and our other LINX Friday Nights events.

  • How do we sign up for Movie Night? Movie Night is free to Members. You may register online by visiting http://www.linx-usa.com and clicking on "Events" at the top of the page. Please register as far in advance as possible so that we may staff appropriately. Registration closes 24 hours prior to the event.

  • We tried to register for Movie Night, but we were turned away. Why? Movie Night is a first-come, first-served Member Benefit. We accommodate as many guests as possible based on our space and staffing availability. The earlier you register, the better. However, we do reserve the right to close the event when it reaches maximum capacity.

  • Where can I see a list of all LINX Friday Nights events? We offer a wide variety of LINX Friday Nights events open to Members and your guests. Visit the LINX Friday Nights page to see an up-to-date list of coming events.

  • Do memberships continue over the summer? LINX Classes typically run from September through June with rolling admission. During the summer, we may offer a limited number of classes. In June, Members are offered the opportunity to pre-register for Fall classes. To pre-register for classes we require a minimal deposit. To see complete Billing Policies click here.

Pricing & Discounts

  • How much does it cost to take a class? Your first class is $125 per month. There is a discount on additional classes. Some programs are priced differently as noted on our website. Visit our Pricing page for complete information.

  • Does it cost extra for a Membership? No. All students actively enrolled in at least one LINX Class are LINX Members entitled to LINX Member Benefits.

  • Does my family receive a discount for taking multiple classes? Yes. Yes. We consider all of your family's registered classes when applying discounts. For example, if you have 3 children taking 1 class each, you will be billed at the 3 class rate.

  • Do you offer an annual pricing option? Yes. We are happy to accommodate families who wish to pay in full for the year. Click here for details.

 

School Vacation Programs

  • Is LINX open on school vacation days? LINX is open on a number of school vacation days throughout the year. For complete details, see our Holiday Schedule.

  • When LINX is open on a school vacation day, do classes run as usual? When LINX is open on school vacation days, we typically hold regularly scheduled classes. However, there will be NO regularly scheduled classes during our Winter Break (December 24th – January 1st). Classes resume on January 2nd.

  • Does LINX offer any kind of special Vacation Programs? Yes. LINX offers special School Vacation Programs that are open to both Members (at a discounted rate) and Non-Members. Visit our School Vacation Programs page to see a list of scheduled events.

 

Stay Days - Wellesley Kindergarten

  • My kindergartener will have new stay days. Should I register for a LINX class? We recommend registering for the class that works best with your child’s current schedule. If a new stay day conflicts with that class, just call us at 781-235-3210 and we will help switch your child into another time slot for the remainder of the program (where space is available).
